In years past, teams of congregants have gone to nursing homes, hospitals, youth services, the library, animal rescue organizations, Ronald McDonald house, and within Temple Avodah itself, to perform mitzvahs that are needed. We do everything from painting walls, book collection, baking, pet adoption, to serving meals to gathering non-perishable food to singing songs and reading to others.
Paul Engel is the current coordinator for this very special multi-faceted day of giving at Temple Avodah.
Participants enjoy this day of giving back and helping others. All are welcome to attend.
